An enormous silver briefcase with two round porthole windows and a brass propeller bolted to the back descends through open ocean water, trailing a stream of small bubbles. The ocean around it is a deep, rich blue, shifting to darker indigo below. Bioluminescent jellyfish drift past in the mid-distance, casting soft pink and violet glows. Through the two porthole windows, lit from within by a warm amber interior light, two silhouettes are just visible: one very large and broad-shouldered (Gorillionaire), one smaller and leaning forward over what appears to be a map (Sue). Below the submarine, far in the dark distance, the vague shape of a ship wreck is barely visible. The angle is a dramatic downward shot, ocean floor unseen, as if the viewer is watching from beside a deep-sea creature.

Gorillionaire and the Treasure of the Deep

The submarine looked like a briefcase. This was because it was a briefcase. A very large, very modified, very waterproof briefcase, with a propeller on the back and two portholes on the front. Gorillionaire had designed it himself. He was extremely proud of it. "It looks like a briefcase," said Sue. "It looks like a SUBMARINE," said Gorillionaire. Sue looked at it. She looked at him. She climbed in without another word. They dove. Down and down and down, past silver shoals of fish, past clouds of glowing jellyfish, past things that had no business being that deep and seemed to know it. Sue unrolled the map. There was an X at the bottom. There was a name beside the X: THE GOLDEN PEEL. "Ready?" she asked. Gorillionaire's robotic fingers glowed blue in the dark water. "I was born ready," he said. "Also, I am magnificent."
