The door to The Rusty Pint swings open and — oh. Oh dear. Matt doesn't fit.
His left shoulder makes it through just fine. His right shoulder has opinions. The doorframe groans like it's auditioning for a sad movie. Matt tilts sideways, tries again, and somehow gets MORE stuck.
"Oh, 'scuse me," he says to the door.
You — Dr Sean, licensed professional, stethoscope swinging — push your sunglasses up your nose and pull out a small notepad. You study the situation the way only a doctor can. The door: thirty-two inches wide. Matt: considerably wider.
You scribble furiously. "I'm diagnosing this as a problem," you announce.
Matt nods, very seriously. A pretzel falls off someone's table inside the bar. Everything smells like hops and wood polish and one very confused evening just getting started. Your red medical bag bumps against your knee.
Tonight is going to require all of your expertise.
